Managing Director, Creative Lead for Design & Digital Products
Accenture Song Middle East

As the managing director and creative lead for design and digital products at Accenture Song Middle East, Dida Atassi believes that she has a role to empower others to be their best. With over 20 years of experience in creating digital experiences for global and local brands, Atassi has served as a jury member for The Design Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival 2021 and the One Show 2022.

“I am passionate about people and I believe that being able to listen, understand, and communicate effectively is an essential leadership skill,” she says. Practically speaking, she identifies two to three priority areas to focus on each week to make a real difference every day.

One of the most significant challenges of her career was managing diversity within a global team and ensuring the successful and timely delivery of high-impact projects. “I cultivated a unique studio culture that emphasized inclusivity and collaboration,” she says, explaining how in-person and remote interactions over team building activities and workshops facilitated a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s perspectives in an open dialogue to solve issues in real-time.

By studying local culture and norms and how they impact design, she has dedicated her career to enhancing lives by designing simple and rewarding experiences. “My goal is to become a leading pioneer in my industry by driving innovation through defining new ways of working, exploring and implementing new tools and methodologies,” she says.

Investing time in learning and professional development is important to Atassi, who also dedicates time to the broader community to support young adults. She is an active member of her children’s school participating in the parent committee and the school board. “My efforts are dedicated to creating impactful connections as I believe schools are an important pillar of our community and fostering their growth and engagement strengthens the community as a whole,” she says.
