Founder and CEO
PRYPCO

As founder and CEO of PRYPCO, managing director of DAMAC Properties, and co-founder of Amali Island, Amira Sajwani is revolutionizing real estate. A thought leader with a strong personal brand and a novel approach to real estate and wealth management, Sajwani pushes boundaries and develops innovative solutions for the next generation.

Her leadership model focuses on outcomes that speak to people, offering them a way to be change-makers in society. “Leadership is about guiding and inspiring others to achieve shared goals, fostering collaboration, and making strategic decisions,” she says.

Sajwani takes collaboration and shared goals to a new level with her company’s mission. Offering innovative solutions to buyers and sellers within the real estate sector, she inspires people to take greater accountability and control of their assets and real estate portfolios, enabling them to invest in the future of their families and themselves.

“In my role, I demonstrate leadership by setting clear communication strategies, empowering my team, maintaining effective communication, adapting to challenges, inspiring and motivating others, and focusing on achieving impactful results,” she says. With a post-graduate degree in finance from the London School of Economics, Sajwani has leveraged her professional experience in various sectors including construction project management and financial strategy to devise practical and innovative solutions that have a unique proposition within the real estate industry.

Inspired by her father Hussein Sajwani, the founder of DAMAC Properties, Sajwani brings forth the legacy of the family business in her work. Sajwani, who is the only girl among three brothers and the mother of two girls, breaks stereotypes and challenges the status quo. A strong believer in streamlining processes within the UAE, her vision is to benefit people and society, offering them a reliable path to investing and realizing prosperity.

“The biggest challenge–and biggest achievement–is that we have grown our reputation so fast. When I launched PRYPCO, I did not expect that reaction from the market, but I believe because of my personal brand and who I am, I got a lot of attention from real estate brokers, from the market, and from clients,” she says.

Through PRYPCO, Sajwani offers solutions such as digitized mortgages, fractional ownership called ‘blocks,’ and visa processing, streamlining the process for both buyers and sellers. Under her leadership, PRYPCO has overseen deliverables of more than AED 2 billion ($545 million) in mortgages and served over a thousand clients.

The revolutionary proptech platform offers everything from mortgages to buyouts and equity releases to fractional ownership solutions. Sajwani’s vision is to make the company the largest proptech and property investment platform in the region and globally

“For PRYPCO, my goals are to scale the business, innovate solutions, build strategic partnerships, enhance brand visibility, and drive customer success,” says Sajwani. She aims to do this by continuously developing unique products and solutions, fostering key relationships, and creating a positive client experience.

As part of her efforts to empower entrepreneurs and motivate trailblazers, Sajwani was part of Shark Tank Dubai, the reality television series on Dubai TV that aired its first season in December 2023. The show has entrepreneurs pitch their businesses to a panel of five venture capitalists, who decide whether to invest in the enterprises after reviewing their pitches.

For Sajwani, whose ambition knows no bounds, vision is as important as credibility, and, taking the legacy of her family business forward, she keeps the flame burning bright.
