A first-generation entrepreneur with over 23 years of international experience, Adriana Usvat founded FLC Marketing Group, an integrated shopper and experiential marketing agency, during the 2008 economic recession with no financial resources or support. Today, she manages online and offline shopper marketing, brand activations, events, and interactive media for large corporates and international brands focusing on the hospitality and real estate sectors.

Looking forward, Usvat aims to build a global presence and spearhead innovative marketing strategies. By prioritizing continuous learning, instilling a culture of sustainability, and utilizing the latest technologies available, Usvat is certain she can raise leaders from within the team. “As a leader, I am committed to nurturing leadership qualities within my team to ensure the enduring success and growth of the company, while also diversifying into areas of passion and strategic focus,” she says.
Usvat achieves results by fostering a culture of learning. By rolling out initiatives such as ‘Educational Mondays’ and ‘Tech Tuesdays,’ she has empowered her team to learn, grow, and excel. “These programs keep our team abreast of industry advancements and equip them to lead in their specialized domains,” she says.
Aside from work, Usvat works closely with the Marketing Society’s educational scholarship programs which support professional education and has spearheaded sustainability policies in the company to reduce environmental impact. She also collaborates with High Hopes, a not-for-profit pediatric therapy center for children with moderate to complex special needs.
