Sarah Brook
Humanitarian and Founder
The Sparkle Foundation
Sarah Brook, the CEO and founder of The Sparkle Foundation, is a woman driven by compassion. A motivator, CSR consultant, and an award-winning TEDx speaker, Brook has delivered education to over 5,000 children, provided over 31,000 medical treatments, and served 700,000 meals through her foundation, impacting 20,000 people and raising more than AED 10,000 million. She also received the first Humanitarian Golden Visa from the UAE.
“At The Sparkle Foundation, I really try and create that family vibe. I want everyone to feel a part of the team, community, family and I do this by creating an environment where people feel supported, guided, and inspired to thrive,” she says.
Not one to shy away from the struggles she’s faced, Brook admits that she battled with impostor syndrome at the start of her career. “I think for so many years I thought I had just given myself my own job title and I wasn’t worthy or deserving of being in the position I am,” she says. To overcome this, Brook surrounded herself with people who believed in her and were able to show her the blind spots she needed to improve.
“When God places responsibility onto you, you must trust his judgment and believe in your own ability. You have to believe that you can do it and find confidence in yourself that you have the strength to do it,” she says.
Today, Brook’s goal for the near future is to grow her consultancy business to focus on sustainable investments and ESG goals, expand her international network as a speaker, release her book, and celebrate 10 years of The Sparkle Foundation, while setting up a UAE board and a branch in the United States.
